Return of the Chili Queens

The chili queens are returning to Market Square on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, May 29th, 30th, and 31st. YAY!!! If you remember from my posts last year around this time, the event was canceled and I was totally bummed by it... but they'll be here this year!

The CASI chili cook-off will also be happening and I get to be a judge again. YAY!!!

New World Wine and Food Festival

The New World Wine and Food Festival is hosting a wonderful week of food and wine tastings all around San Antonio May 12th through the 16th. Check their website for dates, details, and prices.

I'll be at the Totally Texas event again on Sunday, May 16th, from 1 pm to 6 pm, at Rio Cibolo Ranch, signing and selling copies of my cookbook, Foods and Flavors of San Antonio.

Be sure to come out for a great day sipping wines and sampling food. $35, all-inclusive.

Cinco de Mayo Celebration

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at Market Square, Saturday and Sunday, May 1st and 2nd, noon to 6 pm. It's part of the Primer Sabado (first Saturday) event, held on the Plaza the first Saturday every month, featuring fun, food, entertainment, children's activities, arts and crafts, and much more. It's been extended to two days for Cinco
de Mayo.
I'll be there, signing copies of my cookbook,
Foods and Flavors of San Antonio, so be
sure to stop by and say hi.

Future dates for Primer Sabado will be the
first Saturday of June, August, October,
November, and December.

Oh, and did I mention it's FREE!
