Paella Cook-Off at Pearl

The Paella Cook-Off, held
on the grounds of the Pearl Brewery and sponsored by Cocina de las Americas, will bring together chefs from all over the country and Latin America to compete in an Iron Chef-style Paella Competition on Sunday, March 14th, from 11 am to 4 pm. Tickets are $40 presale and $50 at the door.

The event will feature live music and also highlight the food and wine of Spain including Sangria (I'm so there!), Spain's famous hams and cheeses, and an array of Spanish tapas prepared by the CIA San Antonio students.

Taco Cabana will also be there, previewing and sharing samples of their new Brisket Taco.

Update: Just in case you missed the Paella Cook-Off, here's a video of the cook-off at Tanji Patton's site... Good Taste with Tanji.
