Pearl Brewery... Farmer's Market and Flavors for Foodies

I'm a little upset that I missed out on a fun foodie event. No one told me about this until last night when I heard it on the news or
I definitely would have been at Pearl Brewery today for the grand opening celebration of the San Antonio Museum Reach featuring a farmer's market, cooking demonstration from the Culinary Institute of America (which is housed on the grounds of the Pearl Brewery), chef's table, featuring lunch prepared with the season's freshest local ingredients from Texas farms, and the Texas Farm to Table Cafe for the food--Bison Burgers, Tacos, and more--as well as all the other fun festivities!

The farmer's market will be held every Saturday, rain or shine, from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. and will feature cooking demonstrations, a chef's table for lunch ($20.00), and of course, food! Want to take
a guess where I'll be next Saturday morning?

Wow!!! That looks like a GREAT place! I wish there were more things up here by me. I would be a frequent visitor of that place for sure. I went and looked at their website, everything looks beautiful!

Hey there sunshine, did you have a pleasant week off? We don't get a whole lot of stuff happening in EP, but love reading about it when it does occur in other cities. Have fun!

What a terrific looking event - I must say, I've eaten at the Texas Farm to Market Cafe and it's delicious! Wish I'd known this was going on - I would've been there for sure!

The "foodie" spirit runs through our veins and we love to attend events like this.

That sounds incredible!!! What a shame you missed the grand opening, but the weekly market events sound like a blast. $20 for a chef's table lunch? Heck, yeah!! Another "must-do" for my next visit to San Antonio!

Wow! We love the Texas Farm to Mkt. Cafe. I can't wait to go back & am happy they have a Farmer's market there too. We have been addicted to our local Farmer's Markets since I arrived back home. What fun. Great post.
