Rachel from The Crispy Cook made her husband's bodacious recipe for Spicy Lentil Chili to ward off the cold winter chill and warm us all up.
Giz from Equal Opportunity Kitchen went a little nuts this month and made us a very colorful Nuts to You Vegetarian Chili.
Karen from Karen Cooks has been craving hot soup and brings us Venison Chili.
Leo, a new foodie blogger, from Home Grown Cook, hand-shredded the meat and made us some Black Bean Chile with Machaca Beef.
Manda from Asparagus Thin made a Tres Caballeros Chili which she says is hot, hot, hot!
Thanks to all the wonderful foodies who participated in this month's chili cook-off. And remember, we do it all over again next month, so read the rules, get your chili ready, sign up on the first of the month, and enter it in the cook-off for February.

These all look good, I would have a hard time choosing one, but I would eat it all before making that final choice, lol
Machacha Chili gets my vote!
All the dishes look and sound very good and there's something a little different in each one that makes it stand out. That's what is so great about chili, you can put whatever you like in there. My vote is going to have to go to Leo for his Black Bean Chili with Machaca. Love the machaca in it and also the Guiness! Good job everyone!
Oh gosh, they look so good!! Some friends of my parents use to make a chili that looked traditional but had a little tiny bit of sweetness to it and they would put chopped up cucumbers on it as a topping! Thanks for the inspiration!!
They all look so delicious! I'm sorry I missed out this month, if there were an extra day to the week I would of made it.
These are all creative and wonderful. Each one unique from the others, how cool.
Thanks for providing the roundup Gloria. Hopefully I can participate next time!
Nice round-up. I should have a 'go' at this again. It's great weather to be making chili.
